JORD Wood Watch in Ely in Black

 I’m one of those “girls” with a thousand shoes and purses, my wardrobe takes up two closets and two full dressers.  Don’t even get me started on my nail-polish collection.  You could say I’m a little bit into fashion. 

When I was approached by JORD to check out their line of Wood Watches I immediately fell in love with the Ely watch in black.  Sure, I could have chosen a watch for my husband to rock, but where is the fun in that for me?   

Isn’t Ely just stunning?  I still need to size my watch but I can’t help but try it on constantly and admire it.

JORD uses a variety of natural wood grains from sustainable materials to hand-craft their gorgeous watches.  Each piece is one of a kind since no two wood grain patters are quite alike which makes for a truly unique time piece.  Some of the wood Jord uses include bamboo, maple, sandlewood, blackwood, cherry, and teak.  You can also feel good about these watches knowing that no toxic chemicals were used to treat or protect the wood.

The bands and movement housings can be made from one or more types of wood. The internal movements are sourced from the finest international watch manufacturers and the glass is a scratchproof “blue film” glass.

It was so easy for me to style my new Ely watch with some other accessories for a really fabulous, elegant look.  I knew immediately when it arrived what I could pair it with – my world vision hand-crafted wood beaded bracelet and some Swarovski jewellery to complement the wood and silver in the watch.

What I really love about my JORD wood watch is the small, clean looking face and smooth, light-weight design.  I also absolutely love the wood colour, as I said, it is just stunning.  Of course, Ely comes in other colours as well such as cherry and maple. 

There is a wide variety of styles to choose from as shown in the widget below, and there are some rather handsome looking pieces for men too.  My dad particularly liked Sully in Cherry when I showed him the JORD website, and I don’t blame him! 

 


 

Anthony has been talking about how much he loves my JORD watch ever since it arrived.  He even tried putting it on.  Lucky for both him and my dad, Father’s Day is quickly approaching!

  34. I like the Ely Cherry for its reddish glow it gives, the Ely Maple is also very nice ( living in Canada, the maple tree is part of our strength.

  116. Initially I was presented with 3 choices. I very much liked a watch that I would not have chosen in a wider selection. It is perfect! I should know; I am a connoisseur of watches. 746 Maple is how it was identified.

I absolutely LOVE all of these watches, and I know all of my friends & family would, too! after looking at the full collection, if I had to choose just one that I love as much as the one that is a part of this giveaway, I would have to choose the 746 Series Cherry & Black watch. It is now saved on my pinterest under “Gifts I would love to get my man”. I think it may just be under the Christmas tree this year with his name on it! (especially if I end up winning this one, everyone will be dying to know where I got it from including him!)

  179. The Delmar series is beautiful. I like the geometric design and have notseen anything similar in Australia. The one with the green face is subtle and striking.
