Glitter Dipped Easter Eggs
Materials:
Hard-boiled or blown Eggs
Food Colouring
Vinegar
Water
Modge podge
Glitter
Paint Brush
Instructions:
In a 12 oz glass mix together 1 tbsp vinegar with 3/4 cup water and food colouring to achieve your desired shade. (See below for a handy guide to achieve the same brilliant colours I did using regular food colouring)
Use a spoon or tongs to gently place egg in the glass being sure that the egg is completely submerged.
Leave submerged for 5-10 minutes or so depending on how deep you want the colour.
Remove eggs from the dye mixture and allow to completely dry before proceeding.
Carefully paint the egg with the modge podge and roll in coloured glitter so that it looks dipped.
Allow to try standing up. Retaining the egg carton is helpful for this.
Once dry put up on display!

I really like these “dipped” eggs..they look like a non-messy way to use glitter. I made some recently using glue dots. http://www.turnthis-intothat.com/2017/03/26/diy-easy-glitter-easter-eggs/
