Two days before Christmas, a terrible snowstorm arrives and Charlie-in-the-Box is lost at sea! King Moonracer quickly puts together a band of Misfit Toys to rescue him. Together with Yukon Cornelius and Abominable the Snow Monster, the Misfits embark on their greatest adventure yet. But one question remains—will they save Charlie and return to the island in time for Santa? Or are the Misfits doomed to spend another Christmas without a little boy or girl to love them?Based on the beloved original television classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the Misfit Toys make their debut in their first-ever original story and graphic novel. A thrilling middle-grade adventure that’s perfect for young Rudolph fans. Find the Misfit in you.

This is a 64-page graphic novel for kids inspired by the classic Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer story.  I love how it presents the story in a format that older children/tweens and even adults can enjoy.    I also really liked that the author took the Island of Misfit toys and created their own story of what might have gone on.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is my favourite Christmas movie of all time.  I make a point of watching it throughout the season and it really puts me into the Christmas mood.  It’s funny how magical the movie seems even after having watched it a million times.  I really appreciate that this graphic novel didn’t try to reinvent the original story so I was able to enjoy reading through it.

Graphic novels are such a fun format and this one features vivid illustrations and a fun story that makes this a must buy for any older Rudolph fan.
