The Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer television special first aired on NBC December 6, 1964. Fifty years later, it has become a beloved Christmas classic—capturing the heart and wonder of generations of fans.
Here is the complete story from the classic TV show, gloriously illustrated in full color and in an elegant gift book edition. Perfect for reading aloud! (Ages 4-8)
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is my favourite Christmas movie of all time. I make a point of watching it throughout the season and it really puts me into the Christmas mood. It’s funny how magical the movie seems even after having watched it a million times. It’s kind of crazy to think it is fifty years old!
The book itself is bound in a beautiful hardcover reminiscent of books from 50 years ago and filled with beautiful full colour illustrations very closely based on the original classic television special. The story itself is a boiled down version of the classic story which makes it perfect for creating a holiday tradition of family storytime with Rudolph.
This book is a wonderful interpretation of the classic story that manages to retain the charm of the television special for fans of all-ages.
