Philips AVENT Natural Glass Bottle & Fast Bottle Warmer #AVENTMomsCA
I’m blessed to have been able to breastfeed both my babies exclusively now, but with Keira I was able to express breastmilk with my pump and feed her via bottle whenever necessary. When I was shopping for bottles to use with her I had wanted to find some glass bottles to no avail. I just liked the idea that the glass was less likely to contain toxic chemicals than the plastic ones. Things change so often that I wanted to be as safe as possible.
I was pretty excited to be sent a Philips AVENT Natural Bottle in Glass. It might be hard to imagine anyone getting excited over a bottle, but I was. It was a total, oh wow, I really needed this moment!
The Philips AVENT Natural Bottle makes it easier to combine bottle and breastfeeding, and is now the #1 bottle brand in Canada. The Glass version is now available as of this year and is made with premium borosilicate type 1 glass material (pharmaceutical grade), which is thermal shock and heat resistant.
The bottles feature an advance anti-colic system with innovative twin-valve design and a wide ‘breast-like’ shape which is what makes it easier for breastfed babies to latch on. Like other Avent bottles used with Keira, the nipple included features comfort petals to increase softness and flexibility without collapse. It is also shaped ergonomically so that it is easy to hold in any direction, even by baby!
It is available in both 4 oz and 8 oz size.
To go with the Philips AVENT Natural Bottle in Glass you will want the Philips AVENT Fast Bottle Warmer which ensures gentle and even warming as fast as 3 minutes and even includes a handy defrost setting all of which makes it perfect for warming breastmilk from either the fridge or the freezer. I wish I had this item with Keira too! We always stuck a bag in hot water to get it warmed up but this often took ages and resulted in barely lukewarm milk and sometimes caused a strange consistency.
The Fast Bottle Warmer actually helps to preserve the quality of frozen breast milk as it warms it up evenly and safely. It’s super easy to operate too with a quick twist of a knob to turn it on and then simply select the right setting.

I too feel much better about using glass bottles, with all the bad talk of plastic these days I believe they are more safe
I only use glass,I think its cleaner and safer than plastic
I am also a glass lover. I’m sure the newer grade of plastic out there is fine too, but I do love using glass bottles.
I feel like glass bottles are much safer to use because we truly don’t know what chemicals could be in plastics and its affect on baby.
This is the coolest! When my niece and nephew were babies, heating up the bottle was a huge “thing” involving the stove and a pot. Blech.
Where was this when my daughter was a baby?! I worried so much that I was ruining her milk every time I heated it up. This is an amazing invention.
I used all glass bottles for my third child. They were heavier but worth it to us!
This was LONG overdue. So many moms have trouble getting their formula to the right temperature. It’s no fun having to “eyeball” formula temperature.
I breast fed both of my children. If i had to use a bottle i always used glass. It just seems like it can be really sterilized easier then plastic.
Why didn’t I know about bottle warmers with baby number one? What a brilliant and time saving idea! I will have to look into this for baby number 2!
What a wonderful invention. I would have loved this when my daughter was on a bottle. I heated her formula and frozen breast milk in a pot on the stove.
A bottle warmer would be so handy for anyone that is bottle feeding. I don’t like when people use a microwave. You might get hot spots in the milk. This would make a great gift.
This is really cool. When I would make a bottle for my niece or nephew, I always felt like it was either too hot or too cold.
I actually just looked into these for my little sister. She just had a baby and is looking for bottles. Thanks for sharing!
I could not find glass bottles when I bottle fed my son. Both of my girls didn’t take a bottle so I didn’t need them. The bottle warmer would have been perfect when I was bottle feeding too. It was such a pain to go up and down the stairs to warm a bottle.
I wish I would have had one of these when my kids were babies! I am really loving the anti-colic system!
I love glass bottles. They give you that piece of mind seeing they are BPA free.
Woah! Beautiful bottles! They’re not only safe for baby, they’re stylish too.
It’s great how quickly it warms a bottle. I’m having a baby next month and I’ve still been on the search for something like this.
I wish I had been aware of the danger of plastic bottles when my son was a baby. I’ll be sure my nieces, nephews and future grandkids use bottles that are PBA free. I’m glad you found some great bottles for your little one.
Totally planning on using glass for my next baby, if they take a bottle unlike my last 2! These look amazing!
I love that we’re using glass. The taste and health is so much better.
I have a baby shower coming up, great gift idea
Oh, this would be such a blessing for a new mom — anything to save a step in the process of feeding!
I love glass bottles! I wish I would have bought this warmer , would have made my life a little easier at night.
