Back to School with Giant Tiger #GTBack2School
This September marks a huge change in our family. Keira, our 4 year old, is off to Junior Kindergarten to start off on her journey through learning. She is so excited to ride a school bus and make new friends, her only issue is that her little sister can’t come with her.
I’m not sure I’m ready for this step yet but of course I am very busy making sure she is ready to start off her year the right way.
I went back to school shopping for Keira at my local Giant Tiger to look for fall fashions from their brand new kid’s wear lines.
If you shop at Giant Tiger, then you know the value and quality they offer for the whole family. The new kids wear brands at Giant Tiger are no exception. The new brands include: Monkey Bars (Girls/Boys, sizes 2T- 6X), Survival Gear (Boys, sizes 7-14) and Bella & Birdie (Girls, sizes 7-14).
They are stylish, look durable and at price points that make you want to load up your cart. I did end up grabbing a pair of really adorable outfits from the Monkey Bars brand for Keira that will work really well to keep her looking fashionable but ready for everything school throws her way.
I spent a little time looking at the brand new Bella & Birdie line of clothes too and was really impressed with the variety and selection available. At prices like with the quality and style of the pieces, it was really hard not to stock up several years ahead for Keira.
The Monkey Bars collection is really fun looking with plenty of colour, cute patterns and prints. They are easy to mix and match for endless outfit options too.
Keira loves shirts with animals and cupcakes on them so this owl shirt with a pretty lace detail on the front hem was a real hit with her. Of course, the little diva that she is, loved the little bit of pink in the design. This outfit is in size 4 which is her current size and should carry her through to late winter before she outgrows it.
With style like this, how can she not be completely cool and confident on her first day of class (ever)?
I love this adorable fox and heart print skater dress. Paired with bright leggings, it is perfect for running, skipping and jumping in all while keeping warm once the cooler fall weather starts to hit. I bought this outfit in a size 5/6 so that she has a bit of room to grow. The way the outfit will also last through this coming school year and next year as well before she outgrows it.
Another thing I love about Giant Tiger is their “Happiness Guarantee.” If your kid has outgrown, outlasted or simply changed their mind, return the item, at any time, with receipt, for a full refund. Kind of makes back to school shopping a little less stressful, doesn’t it?
