About the Ingredients for the Pepperoni Pizza Sliders

Buns – You want to use small buns for this. If you can’t find slider buns then mini briocje buns work well. You could also use your favourite bun recipe to make slider buns – my recipe for coconut Hawaiian rolls would work great if you left off the coconut topping to make simple and sweet Hawaiian rolls.

Pizza Sauce – Don’t be using tomato sauce, or spaghetti sauce. Pizza sauce only please!

Pepperoni Slices – Use either regular pepperoni or turkey pepperoni slices. You could also use mini slices of pepperoni if that is what you have on hand.

Cheese – We are using fresh mozzarella cheese here for the best flavour but you could use brick mozzarella if necessary. The grated Parmesan is for the topping.

Butter – Use salted, melted butter here for the topping.

Garlic – Garlic powder is the easiest to use but you could swap for a little fresh minced garlic.

Herbs – We are using both basil and oregano for the top of the rolls. You could swap with Italian seasoning instead.
