Lavender Handmade Soap
This lavender handmade soap is so simple to make and results in a lightly scented soap that is calming to use. You won’t believe how simple soap-making can be!
Lavender Handmade Soap
Materials:
Glycerin Melt-and-Pour Soap
1 tsp Lavender essential oil
2 tsp Dried lavender flowers
Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle
Directions:
Cut the soap into 1-inch cubes and place into a large microwave safe bowl and cover with cling wrap.
Heat the soap in your microwave for 45 seconds.
Stir the soap then heat again in 30 second increments until melted and smooth.
Stir in the lavender eo and dried lavender flowers.
Pour the soap into your moulds.
Lightly spray the soap with rubbing alcohol to eliminate any bubbles.
Allow soap to completely solidify and cool down, about 1 hour, before removing from the moulds.
Wrap in plastic wrap to store.
*note: Crush the flowers with a mortar and pestle to increase the fragrance of the soap.

Looks wonderful!
I keep meaning to try making homemade soap, maybe for Christmas this year. Would make a nice homemade gift.
I haven’t made my own soap in years, but it may be time to start again.
