Kiss Me Organics Matcha Green Tea Powder PLUS 26 Recipes Featuring Matcha!
I love drinking Green Tea. I love tea in general but Green Tea has so many health benefits and its naturally sweet tasting so I tend to reach for it more often. When Kiss Me Organics reached out to me to review their Organic Green Tea Powder I was pretty interested. I had heard about matcha but honestly thought it was just some strange fad. I mean… I already loved my regular old brewed green tea!
You know what I found out when I did a little research regarding matcha? I found that matcha green tea powder is even better for you than brewed green tea! Unlike when you brew tea from brewed tea, you ingest the entire tea leaf when you drink green tea made from Matcha which dramatically increases the nutritional content. When I say dramatically.. I mean 137 times the antioxidant power! That’s a pretty powerful reason to switch to matcha I’d say!
Kiss Me Organics makes even more claims regarding their Matcha Green Tea Powder saying it can provide:
- All Day Energy
- A Metabolism Boost
- Increased Focus
- Improved Skin Health
- and of course has 137 x the Antioxidants of brewed Green Tea!
Its also 100% organic and tested for purity from Kiss Me Organics home in Shizuoka, Japan, within a tea region recognized by the United Nations as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. I loved when I learned that they even harvest from a family-run tea farm in operation since 1915 that has been certified organic since 2000, synthetic chemical free since 1994, and reduced chemical usage since 1975. How amazing is that, especially considering the origins of matcha is in Japan!
While I personally enjoy matcha prepared as a hot tea, I know that it is not to everyone’s taste. The good news is that Kiss Me Organics Matcha Green Tea is Culinary Grade which means you can use it to prepare a variety of different dishes and beverages. Read on for some great ideas for those with a green tea aversion!
