Vintage Sugar Bowl Pin Cushion
This Vintage Sugar Bowl Pin Cushion is a really cute but practical and cheap DIY project that would make a great gift for anyone who loves to sew. Use a vintage open sugar bowl and scrap fabric to create a unique and beautiful vintage looking pin cushion.
Vintage Sugar Bowl Pin Cushion
Materials:
A vintage sugar bowl (I found mine at the thrift store for 3.99)
A handful of stuffing (exact amount will depend on your sugar bowl)
A Square of fabric (size will depend on your sugar bowl)
An Elastic Band
Hot Glue Gun
Directions:
Roll your stuffing into a tight ball and cover with the fabric.
Secure with an elastic band.
Place a ring of hot glue around the inner rim of the sugar bowl about 1/4 inch from the top.
Push the fabric ball into the sugar bowl with the tied off end down.
Ensure the fabric is secured.
