No-Sew Reusable Advent Calendar

 

materials

Materials:

1 9inch (22.8 cm) by 12inch (30.4 cm) felt in Green
1 9inch (22.8 cm) by 12inch (30.4 cm) felt in Red
24 set of sticky back velcro circles
White puffy fabric paint
Stencil

 

Directions:

 

felt-strips

 

Cut the felt into 6 inch by 1.5 inch strips.

 

velcro

 

Stick the velcro circles onto the ends of the strips.

Lay the strips out flat and paint on the numbers using the stencil sheet and puffy fabric paint.

Allow to completely dry.

 

advent-garland

 

From December 1st on, have your children connect a new velcro strip onto the other each day.

After Christmas, simply disconnect the rings in the garland and store the strips in a baggy.
