I received a bottle of Purex plus Oxi for my family to try and review. We do use Purex already for our everyday laundry as none of us have reactions to it and it seems to work well, plus it fits nicely into our budget. I was interested to see how this new formulation would compare.
Purex Plus Oxi is specially formulated with both Oxi and Zout stain removers to fight over 101 stains to help keep your wash looking and smelling great. It tworks equally well on heavily stained loads as it does on your everyday laundry.
It does have a light scent but is hypoallergenic so it is gentle enough to use even on Keira’s laundry.
I was surprised to find that Purex plus Oxi can actually be used as a preater as well as a detergent so you can definitely get more bang for your buck. Just pour a little Purex plus Oxi onto the stain, rub the stained fabric together as you would with your pretreater spray. Wait 5 minutes then add your wash and detergent to your washer and run your wash cycle as normal.
So how does it compare to the regular Purex? Well it certainly makes dealing with stained clothing that much easier, and we certainly have a lot of stains thanks to a certain little toddler!
