Lovable little Peppa Pig is getting ready to go back to school – and so can your family and readers nationwide! – with the DVD release of Peppa Pig: School Bus Trip – available August 4 from Entertainment One!

The colourful new title is launching as a special DVD + Scholastic Mini Book Gift Set (SRP: $19.98), and will also be available for Digital Download. And the Scholastic Mini Book included as part of the Gift Set is titled “Class Trip,” making it the perfect addition to this Peppa seasonal offering as well as a great “watch and read” opportunity for parents and kids.

In the Peppa Pig: School Bus Trip DVD, Peppa and her school friends take a trip to the mountains, where she and her classmates have fun hearing echoes, having a picnic, and singing their favourite tune on the bus ride home – the “Bing Bong Song.” Back at school, Peppa attends gym class, acts in the school play, participates in sports day, and much more! Young viewers will love these hilarious adventures filled with lots of snorts, laughter, sunshine, and of course, jumping in muddy puddles!

Both Keira, 3, and Ava, 19 months. adore Peppa Pig so they were pretty excited to be able to watch some new episodes.  Their favourite episode on the DVD is the title episode.  They love getting up and dancing and singing along to the Bing Bong song.  I have to admit, it’s pretty catchy.

The Class Trip mini book that comes with the DVD is a nice bonus to this must-have edition for any little Peppa fan!

  1. best class trip I ever went on was a camping trip with the whole class at a private lake we had to walk in about 2 miles, we had a riot

  2. Nest class to trip I went on was a trip to New Brunswick on a Marine Biology trip. There were only 18 of us, it was a great trip!

  3. Best class trip was our grade eight grad trip. We went to the Old Spaghetti Factory and went the O’Keefe Centre (now the Sony Centre For Performing Arts) and saw David Copperfield.

  4. We didn’t go on many field trips when I was in school. The best one was in town and we went to the bakery and got to watch how they made donuts and then we all got one. They were warm when we got to eat them and I still remember how they almost melted in your mouth.

  5. This is true-when I was in 7th grade (many, many years ago) our class went on a trip to our local courthouse, which included a trip to the morgue, complete with dead bodies! Really!

  6. Best trip when I was younger was Canada’s wonderland as a school trip to play a competition with our school band then enjoy the park 🙂

  7. In Grade 12 our geography class went on a plane for an hour over Gulf islands and Fraser Valley in BC. Was so awesome!

  8. the best class trip I ever went on was to a park that has a merry-go-round & I remember using my pocket money to go on it

  9. Storybook Gardens in London, ON, was my fav place when I was a kid. I love taking my kids there now 🙂

  10. Best class trip I ever did was an exchange to Montreal for 10 days that was sponsored by the government program “Open House Canada”

  11. ill never forget the class trip in grade 7 , through the entire school year we had an aquarium in the class with over 1000 baby salmon eggs and each day we watched them till the day they hatched. I remember seeing all the small fishes swimming around , we then released them into the river and it was amazing seeing them swim away 🙂

  12. we went to Ottawa in grade 9. it was so cool! stayed in a hotel, took the bus over to hull and went to the planetarium, it was incredible.

  13. The best class trip was to a ski resort, in B.C. It was for a whole weekend, and it was the first time skiing for me. Loved it!
