“Love You to the Moon” Nursery Decor Craft with Free Printable
8×10 frame
Printable, (Blue or Pink) printed and cut to 8×10
Yarn of your choice — I Used Lion Brand Homespun in Pearls
Round Template such as a drinking glass (my diameter is 3-1/2″)
Cardboard or Stiff Card Stock
Hot Glue
Scissors
Pencil
Directions:
Place your printable in the frame. Place the image in front of the glass and place on a flat surface. Set aside.
Place your drinking glass or similar circle template onto the cardboard and trace with a pencil. Shift the glass to the right to create a moon shape you desire. Trace and cut out the moon.
Glue your yarn to the back of the star and begin to wrap the yarn as close to the end as possible. You may have to wrap once, and glue, wrap again and glue, until you get it started. I also glue on the one side, the back. Continue until the moon is completely covered and the thickness is to your liking. Cut yarn and glue on back when finished.
I love this nursery craft. It is so simple to make and looks so beautiful on the wall of a nursery. The theme(I love you to the Moon and back) is the title of a book that is loved by many toddlers. Thank you for this idea and the directions for making it.
