Place your drinking glass or similar circle template onto the cardboard and trace with a pencil. Shift the glass to the right to create a moon shape you desire. Trace and cut out the moon.

Glue your yarn to the back of the star and begin to wrap the yarn as close to the end as possible. You may have to wrap once, and glue, wrap again and glue, until you get it started. I also glue on the one side, the back. Continue until the moon is completely covered and the thickness is to your liking. Cut yarn and glue on back when finished.

Place your moon onto your frame as desired and hot glue in place.

I love this Nursery Craft. It is so easy to make and speaks volumes. The book of the same name is so popular with toddlers. Thank you so much for sharing both the idea and the printout.
