We were sent a Hearts for Hearts Girl and a Wee Waterbaby from RP Toys, one of Canada’s top toy distributors. Keira has loved dolls since she was about 1 years old and it’s truly adorable seeing just how naturally nurturing she is. She has a small collection of her “babies” already but the Wee Waterbaby has become a fast favourite since she is also able to bring her along for bath-time fun.
We were sent a Wee Waterbaby named Wee Bubbles to review. Wee Waterbabies are prefilled and much smaller than the typical waterbaby at 6″. They are nicely squishy and are just the perfect size for little hands to carry around. They do come in a variety of skintones and head pieces that differentiate between the various babies. Wee Bubbles features a head piece of bubbles and a rubber ducky. She also wears a blue removable diaper complete with a pink bow.
Keira loves Wee Bubbles so much, right down to the duck on her head. She loves quacking at Wee Bubbles (well…its more of a GAH GAH!) as she is so proud to know what a duck is and what a duck says. She gets lots of love, hugs and kisses and even gets wrapped up in her own blanket when Keira wants to make her “cozy”.
We also received Tipi from Laos, a Hearts for Hearts Girl. Hearts for Hearts girls are truly unique as not only does each doll come with a story booklet that tell about life in their country but they also help you to contribute to changing the world. When you buy a Hearts 4 Hearts Girls™ doll, a portion of the purchase price is donated to World Vision Canada. World Vision is a charity that is very close to my heart as I have been a child sponsor for several years now, even during times that were financially hard for myself. Being able to support them while teaching my own daughter about other people through a gorgeous doll is amazing.
The countries represented by these dolls include Consuelo (Mexico), Lillian (Russia), Dell (United States), Nahji (India), Rahel (Ethiopia) and Tipi (Laos). The dolls are 14 inches tall with poseable smooth vinyl bodies and high quality rooted hair and they are all dressed in beautiful ethnic clothing.
I love that these dolls aren’t just pretty but educational and inspiring for my daughter (and all girls!). They show that no matter where you are from you can make a difference in your family, your community and beyond.

boy is that cute how she gives her doll a kiss, marvellous. I love the fact that these dolls come with a booklet about life in the country which the doll represents. It's also recommendable that a portion of the purchase price is donated to World Vision Canada, that's what I like to hear.

I love when a company gives back. Made you want to buy from them so much more. These dolls are adorable and I know my granddaughter would love one. I like that it comes with a story, and different nationalities.
