How to Make Crock Pot Cinnamon Roll Cherry Cobbler
You can make this delicious recipe in the slow cooker too!
To do so, place your pillsbury cinnamon rolls in a single layer on the bottom of your crock pot, reserving the icing.
Spoon some of the cherry filling over the top, then layer more cinnamon rolls. Continue to layer cinnamon rolls and cherry pie filling.
Cook on low for 3 hours, or until rolls are set.
Drizzle icing over the top of it all and serve.
How to Store Cherry Cobbler
When a recipe is done cooking, it’s usually best to let the food cool down a bit before storing it. This allows the dish to thicken and not become watery from being stored too soon.
You can store your cooled down cherry cobbler in the refrigerator for up to three days in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap.
How to Freeze Cherry Cobbler
If you’re cooking for just one person and don’t want to have leftovers, you can put your Cinnamon Roll Cherry Cobbler in the freezer.
If the dish has been cooked and cooled down, place it in a freezer safe container or bag. Make sure it’s airtight so no moisture forms. Store in the freezer for up to three months.
To thaw Cinnamon Roll Cherry Cobbler, let it sit out on the counter for a few hours. It doesn’t take long to thaw.
About the Ingredients for Cinnamon Roll Cherry Cobbler
Cinnamon Rolls – I used a regular cinnamon roll package but you can also use Grands. I think the smaller rolls give a better balance between cherries and cinnamon roll though.
Cherry Pie Filling – Any cherry pie filling will do but if you can get your hands on filling that is more cherry than syrup, that is best.
