This Apple Cinnamon Syrup is fabulous poured over pancakes, waffles, cheesecakes and ice cream. It’s a sweet autumn treat that is super versatile as a syrup and sauce.
Apple Cinnamon Syrup
Ingredients:
1-3/4 cup apple cider (or use apple juice)
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
2 tablespoons corn starch
1teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg in a saucepan and mix well. Add apple cider. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until bubbly and slightly thickened.
Pour on pancakes, waffles, cheesecakes.
Store in an airtight container…if there’s any left.

I really like this recipe for apple cinnamon syrup. It requires few ingredients, easy to make and sounds yummy. I love pancakes and I cannot wait to make this syrup and try it on some pancakes. Yum. Saved the recipe.
