Just after we moved to our new house, Keira, my 3 year old was napping and my 1 year old, Ava just would not. I thought some fresh air would do her good and keep her from waking up her sister. It was perfect – warm and sunny and she was so full of little smiles. She couldn’t get enough of playing on the stairs. Honestly it was just so adorable I had to snap some pics.
This one is my favourite from the set. She looks so innocent and those lashes! Gorgeous!
It was only later that I realised she was wearing the same outfit Keira had worn when I hosted a mother’s day collage for Chatelaine and snapped the perfect picture of Keira on the pew in my parents kitchen. I then used it as part of a mother’s day collage I had printed with Posterjack.
Honestly, it doesn’t feel like it was long enough ago that Ava would already be wearing the same outfit!
I knew I could trust Posterjack to create a beautiful piece of art for my gallery wall. You know. When I get the chance to put it back up. I still have boxes I haven’t gotten to yet! It’s surprisingly hard to unpack with two little ones and a business to run.
I went with a gallery frame in black to match the other pieces and as per usual I am in love with the end product. I know I can always trust Posterjack to delivery a high quality print and frame!
The gallery frame has a clean and classic look to it with a lovely matte that makes the print pop. The print itself is bright, clear and crisp and does the original justice.
The frame is nice and thick and sturdy hardwood. Gallery Frames come in four timeless colours; Rich Black, Alpine White, Espresso Brown, and Light Walnut. All of the components are made in Canada – from the hardwood frame, to the low glare framers acrylic, right down to the off-white acid free mat board.
It even arrives ready to hang. Easy!

A gorgeous child and a beautiful photo. Talking of eyelashes, I was always jealous of one of my sons who had thick, long lashes, a girl's dream :-)
