I really love to have unique serving ware and tend to collect pieces that have heirloom potential.  The Flutes & Pearls Egg Tray from Wilton Armetale fits in beautifully with the rest of my collection but remains quite possibly the most functional piece I own.

It is made from aluminum-based alloy and it is perfectly weighty.  I love that this egg tray is so stylish and yet so obviously durable.  As a matter of fact, Wilton Armetale claims that it will not crack, chip or dent.

Speaking of functional though, the tray can be chilled to  serve your cold food and have it remain chilled for an extended period.  It can also be used to cook and serve hot food, able to withstand temperatures up to 1000 degrees Farhenheit, it is also able to retain heat for quite a while.   Prior to putting it in the oven and cooking with it, just be sure to spray it with cooking oil to protect the piece.

The tray holds one dozen deviled eggs and the center section of the platter is perfect for holding other side items, or even just a few more eggs.  Of course, this tray is perfect for other items as well.  I whipped up some super cute egg-shaped hash brown perfect for Easter morning breakfast.  See below for the recipe.  They are super yummy and when you pop them out of the egg tray they have a super cute egg shape!  Of course you will still want to serve them in this gorgeous egg tray.  I did!

Once all those delicious hash browns were consumed it was time to wash up the egg tray.  I was pleased to find that despite all the detailing it was pretty to wash up in the sink by hand which is important because it is not dishwasher safe.  By hand-washing the egg tray you can almost guarantee it will last a lifetime and longer.

If you are looking for a perfectly versatile stylish egg tray this is definitely a great option.  Don’t forget to check out all the other beautiful items in the Flutes & Pearls Collection from Wilton Armetale!
