Keira is a huge fan of all her Playskool toys, not the least of which is her Poppin‘ Park Learn ‘N Pop Lion Toy. Of course, now that she is older she is playing with it properly most of the time. It says a lot that a full year later, it is still played with as much as when she first got it.
Another great toy from the Poppin’ Park line from Playskool is the Poppin’ Park Pop ‘n Pick Up Elefun Toy for ages 18 months and up. It seems like the next logical step for Keira from the Lion.
The Pop ‘n Pick Up Elefun Toy is a push toy for toddlers featuring a cute little blue elephant that pops colourful balls out of its it’s trunk. Your toddler can then steer the toy over the balls and pick them up again so they can start all over again for hours of fun. It is like a combination of the Playskool Elefun Busy Ball Popper and the classic popcorn popper push toy.
The handle is easy for little toddler hands to grasp, and even includes storage for the balls when not in use. It also includes 5 colourful balls and is compatible with balls from other Poppin’ Park toys (such as our Lion)! The bonus? This toy is completely Toddler powered, no batteries needed – which also makes it relatively quiet aside from the squeals from your little one!
I also appreciate that this toy is bright and colourful and gender neutral. Don’t get me wrong, I love pink a lot, but Keira has a lot of pink toys that didn’t necessarily need to be pink. I know a lot of parents appreciate it when they can find fun, bright gender neural toys so this is a real win.
Not only is the Pop ‘n Pick Up Elefun toy fun, exciting and engaging for Toddlers, it also teaches cause and effect as well and can help improve gross motor skills such as hand-eye coordination.
