Looking for a great educational gift to give to a baby, toddler or preschooler this holiday season?  Teach My learning kits are award winning all-in-one learning kits containing a variety of different activities that allow you to Bond. Teach. Play… 20 minutes a day.

Teach My was founded in 2007 by Mompreneur, Christy Cook. Realising that parents are the most important teachers, Christy scoured educational supply stores to find learning activities to educate her 18-month old son, Finn. Not finding an all-in-one kit, Christy aimed to make it easier and less expensive for parents, so she created Teach My Toddler, the award winning first and only all-in-one learning kit for toddlers.

After Teach My Toddler received rave reviews and several awards, Christy created Teach My Baby, the award winning first and only all-in-one learning kit for babies and Teach My Preschooler, the NEW all-in-one learning kit to prepare your child for kindergarten.

We got to check out the Teach My! Baby Learning Kit and found that literally everything you could want for teaching the basics is included, right down to a nice sturdy portable case.  The kit is divided into four sections – First Words, First Numbers, Self and Sound & Touch.    Each section is self contained inside their own smaller re-sealable storage bags which helps to keep the kit organized.

The kit also contains a teaching guide with tips and ideas on how to best use the kit with your baby.  Teach My Baby is intended for babies ages 6-18 months.  Keira is actually older than that even going by adjusted age but she is behind when it comes to speech so I’ve been using the kit to build on what she already knows and to try and encourage her to speak more.

Each section comes with a variety of different tools to work with your baby.  Pictured above is everything included in the “Self” section.  This particular set includes a board book, mirrored building blocks and mirrored flashcards.  The tools in this set and all the others are quite sturdy so we haven’t had any issues with destruction.  As you can tell from the picture the mirrors nice and clear with no distortion which makes it easy to use.

Keira really has a lot of fun going through the activities included in the kit and the more we work on it the longer she is able to stay focused.   She gets super excited as soon as she sees the yellow carry-case come out too.

One of her favourite sections though is “Sound & Touch”.  She already knows a lot of animal sounds so I think it helps with her confidence that she is able to vocalize along with most of this section.

We were also sent the Teach My Toddler Numbers 1 to 10 set from the Teach My Toddler learning kit.  We haven’t started working on this one yet as I’d like to get her more comfortable with the First Numbers set included in the Teach My Baby learning Kit.   It is meant to introduce toddlers to counting and number recognition through repetition and interaction.  It includes a board book, poster, puzzle and flashcards along with a re-sealable storage bag and teaching guide.  It is geared towards kids aged 18-36 months old to help give them a kick start with numbers.

These learning kits are a great way for all parents to help give their kids a head start with their education and get really involved and invested with helping their kids learn.

  1. I think I would choose the “TEACH MY PRESCHOOLER READING” if I am lucky enough to win! This would be so great for my daughter.

  2. My toddler already knows most animals, but not the continents. I think she would have fun showing where each animal lived. (teach my toddler continents and animals)

  3. I would choose the Teach My Preschooler Printing . I love teaching tools! And I think my grand daughter would enjoy learning with this.

  4. Teach My Preschooler Printing. He’s going to need a lot of work before school starts next year. this would be a big help

  5. Teach My Preschooler Math would be my choice. It’s a subject that a lot of children have trouble with until it clicks. I like that this is based on cognitive recognition, I taught my children with dice. It’s always easier for a child if it can ‘see’ a picture of the number in it’s minds-eye.
