I grew up watching the original My Little Pony series and had an extensive collection of My Little Ponies.  I’m sure many of you grew up with My Little Pony as well and are now sharing the updated series (Friendship is Magic) with your own little ones!  

This Holiday Season brings two releases that would make for the perfect gift for any little Pony fan in your life along with several other 2013 releases.

The true meaning of Christmas is not found in packages or a visit from Santa, but in friendship and genuine concern for others. In “A Very Minty Christmas,” Minty accidentally breaks the glowing “here comes Christmas candy cane” that traditionally leads Santa through the clouds to Ponyville. Horrified that she has ruined Christmas for the entire village, Minty embarks on a perilous journey to the North Pole. Along the way, she learns the value of true friendship and discovers that simply giving of oneself can ensure a great Christmas for everyone. In “Dancing in the Clouds,” Twinkle Twirl and her friend Sky Wishes strive to create an extra special dance for the friendship ball. Thanks to a little help from Star Catcher, the two friends harness the power of friendship to create a beautiful dance and a very special memory.

 The second, newest release, “A Pony For Every Season” is from the Friendship is Magic series.  It features 6 episodes and is a great DVD to watch any time of the year.

  45. Honestly I think it will be a toss up between the Equestria girls and a very minty Christmas. I have 2 Daughters and I think one will favor one and the other will favor the other.

  131. My niece would love My Little Pony Equestria Girls. Anything to do with horses or ponies! At this age, I believe the only real horses she has ever seen, have been the police horses! She’s addicted.
