I really love subscription boxes. The mystery of a fun “gift to myself” month after month is pretty appealing. As someone who is also in love with exploring food, I love finding food-related boxes that actually ship to Canada.
Canadians will be excited to find that Love with Food has just launched internationally and is now shipping to 26 countries around the globe, including Canada. Love with Food is a snack subscription box that specializes in organic, all-natural or gluten-free snacks that get delivered to your door every month.
I was sent a shipment from Love with Food of a Gluten Free box and a Deluxe box in order to sample what the service has to offer Canadians. I could not believe just how many snacks were included in each box!
With a Love With Food subscription you can go on a fun foodie adventure with each monthly delivery. You will receive curated, healthier snack selections that will help make eating well something that is affordable and accessible.
There are two monthly options available for Canadian customers including the Deluxe Box (starting at USD $16.50 per month on an annual plan), or the Gluten-Free Box (starting at USD$19.99 per month on an annual plan). You also have the option of paying month-to-month, but you will definitely get the best value when you purchase an annual plan.
I loved exploring the new-to-me brands and products included in each of the boxes, it was truly a delightful adventure!
I was shopping the other day and noticed the pur mints sitting by the checkout and grabbed a new package as I recognised them from the Love with Food box.
I’m hoping to come across a few more of the new snacks I’ve found too as I think many of them would work well for my daughter’s lunch box come September. She is just starting Kindergarten and here in Ontario they do a balanced day program where they get two snack times during the day instead of lunch. I definitely do need help in the healthy snack department!
I was even impressed with the snacks included in the gluten-free box. Gluten-free snacking isn’t always a foodie’s paradise but these snacks were all really delicious. I think the Gluten-free box is a great option for those with Celiac disease or gluten intolerance to explore new options for snacking.
The Deluxe Box includes 16 to 20 snacks each month while the Gluten-Free box includes 10 to 12 celiac-safe & mostly dairy-free snacks. I also received some coupons in each box which is helpful if you intend to purchase some of the products included, although some are only have to purchase in the USA. (You can also purchase some of the snacks in bulk directly from Love with Food in their snack shop.)
My favourite item from the Love with Food boxes this month were the Beanitos Baked White Bean Crunch Mac N Cheese sticks. I’ve had Beanitos before, but only their tortilla-style chips. I didn’t even realise that they made snacks like these. They were so good, I hid them from my family and ate them myself – totally guilt free.
I love that each box also includes a a little pamphlet with details on what is included in each box, along with company social media accounts and product ingredients. It gives you basically everything you might want to know about each sample aside from pricing.
Fight Child Hunger with Each Box
Love with Food donates to a food bank with each purchase. Each box you receive donates two meals to hungry kids and they’ve donated over a million meals already!
Just think, foodie adventure for you, and a meal on a hungry child’s plate too!
