We recently reviewed Planet Kindergarten: 100 Days in Orbit also by Sue Ganz-Schmitt and were happy to check out the original story – Planet Kindergarten.
This book is an incredible story purposely written to boost the confidence and allay fears about entering kindergarten. The illustrations are wonderful and full of whimsical details that the girls loved.
This title definitely helped make the 2nd book even more enjoyable as my little ones had a better understanding about what was going on. It certainly has my 4 year old even more full of enthusiasm for kindergarten than she already is and my 2 year old…. well she is constantly “blasting off” into outer space.
A perfect title for children about to start school for the first time or children who are still a bit anxious about attending school.
