Back in the spring I was cleaning out my car and found some old maps that had been sitting in there since before I had GPS or a phone capable of navigating.  They brought back a lot of old memories of adventures and road trips with my friends and I decided to find another use for these rather than just throwing them away.

A couple weeks later I found some blank coasters at the craft store and inspiration struck!  These would even make a great gift for someone who loves to travel.

I’m only reading your map coaster suggestion now. It looks great. But can I ask what the coaster is made from. It looks like a tile but suspect it is not.

    1. They are blank ceramic coasters, you can find them at Michaels, however tiles could work if you found some with a matte finish. You can find similar ones on Amazon if you don;t have a local craft store that carries them.
