Handmade Toy Donuts

         

These Handmade Toy Donuts are easy to make and oh so sweet with a sprinkle of stitches. They are a great complement to a toy tea set or play kitchen.

 

 
My girls love these donuts. They really bring a whole new level of fun to their play kitchen. They are perfect for their tea parties and picnics.

Handmade Toy Donuts

Materials:

Donut Template
Felt for icing and donut shape
Sewing thread
Sewing needle
Embroidery thread
Embroidery needle
Polyester Stuffing
 

 

Directions:

Use template to cut out donut shapes. You will need two of the circles and one of the icing for each donut.

 

 

Using your needle and thread stitch the icing felt piece to one of the donuts using a running stitch.

Use embroidery thread and needle to create sprinkles in a variety of colours.

 

 

Stitch the two donut shapes together with thread about 1/16″ from the edge and each other using a whip stitch, leaving an opening for the stuffing.

 

 

 

Fill the donut with stuffing, working small pieces inside the donut until the donut if completely stuffed.

 

 

Sew up the opening.
