My favorite memory of parenting my son was teaching him to ride a bike. we spent the whole day getting him to pedal and he was so excited when he did it on his own
There are so many it is hard to pick just one but teaching my son to walk using a balloon comes to mind!
I have so many to choose from, can’t say that one is more precious than another. I do recall taking my mom with me to an ultrasound appointment. She was fascinated to see her last grandchild in utero.
I was raised by my grandparents and my most wonderful shared moment is working side by side with them in their garden
she always told me not to judge people by their looks and believe me this has helped over the years when the kids bring some friends home lol
I have a lot of good memories that me and my mom have had , I took my mom to each baby appointment I went to for my son and for my daughter and she was there when they were born 🙂
Growing up so long ago (I’m in my 40s) my mom was a stay at home mom until I was 11. Even being a stay at home mom she never let her role at the time define who she was and had a ‘fierceness’ about her that allowed her to achieve whatever she put her mind to despite the stereotypical type women’s roles in society. I learned by seeing that I can be who I want to be!
My favourite memory of my mom is when she used to take us kids skating. She taught us how to skate. It was a lot of fun and we always got a treat.
My favourite memory is an image I have of my daughter & her son. She was kinda holding him up in front of her and he was leaning in like he was going to kiss her with a big smile on his face…
My favourite memory of my mom is her always being there when i got home from school and i wanted to do the same for my kids.
My favorite Mom memory was coming home from school and finding fresh baked cookies or cupcakes that she had ready for us.
My father passed away when I was expecting his first grandchild. I remember we all went out to dinner and my dad held onto my arm all the way so his grand baby would not get hurt…..Love him and miss him always…
My favourite memory of my mom is her earning money babysitting with her sister. I think she was at her happiest during that time ‘cos she loved being around babies, family & having a purpose in life.
My favourite memory with my mother would have to be spending time with her in my grandmother’s garden eating fresh fruit off the trees and being in nature. I miss her so much.
BIRTH OF MY GRANDDAUGHTER
As small children, for each of our birthdays, my mother would dress herself up as a clown and bring a rope of fun and balloons for all the kids to hang on to as they walked home with us for our b/day parties. It was something she did just to make us smile.
When I was young, my mom went along with my request for a teddy bears’ picnic. She dragged out all of the summer clothes, hats, and beach toys in the dead of winter. We have a picture of my mom, sister (1.5) and I (3.5) in summer gear, along with a whole row of stuffed animals wearing summer hats and sporting beach pails/sieves/shovels/etc.
