Bat Corner Bookmark
Supplies:
Colourful craft paper
Scissors
Pencil
Craft glue
Ruler
Bat Template
Instructions:
Step 1:
Take a piece of craft paper and cut it in a square shape.
Step 2:
Diagonally fold it in half and create a triangle.
Make sure the edges match perfectly. This will help our bookmark to be precise.
Step 3:
Then fold the triangle in half, and open up the fold.
This will create a crease on the middle. This crease will help as a guideline.
Step 4:
Now take the upset flap of the triangle and bring it upwards to the base of the triangle.
Step 5:
Now take the right corner of the triangular paper and, bring downwards then fold it along with the crease we created in the previous step.
Step 6:
Then, tuck in the corner on the upper pocket.
Step 7:
Similarly, fold the left corner.
Step 8:
Use the PDF templates to cut out the pieces for our bat.
Step 9:
Start glueing the pieces together. Glue both songs on both sides of the triangular paper piece, then glue the smaller earpieces inside the larger ones. Allow the glue to dry.
Step 10:
Glue both eyes on the top middle part of the triangle, and glue the ears on the top of the triangle.
Step 11:
Glue both teeth on the bottom of the triangle (the triangle’s base).
Step 12:
Use a black marker pen to draw the eyes.
Step 13:
Finish off making the bookmark by glueing the bat on the origami bookmark we made.
