Try using it in a simple men’s shaving gift basket by pairing it with a shaving brush and razor with a hand towel.

Bentonite clay helps the razor glide smoothly over the skin to help prevent nicks and cuts. Jojoba oil works to nourish the skin while the essential oil blend provides many benefits including an invigorating effect, antiseptic properties, a fantastic scent and more. You will need a shaving brush to use the soap.

1/2 tsp Jojoba Oil

  1. well this is just fabulous! never thought of making this myself and it is very straight forward. It would be a great gift to hubby and mean more than going to the store

  2. I’ve never heard of anyone making homemade shaving soap before – got to be a first for everything right? This sounds fairly easy once you have all the ingredients together, will have to keep an eye out and see if any of my ‘lads’ still uses a wet shaver. Thanks for the idea 🙂

  3. Now this is super sweet! I’ve seen all sorts of stuff like this for women, hand scrubs, deodorants…. don’t really see too much geared towards men! Thanks for sharing!

  4. How would this be used? Does the brush need to be wet and then rubbed against the surface of the soap to lather? I’ve never made soap before so sorry if I sound lost.

  5. 5 stars
Where did you find the mug and shave brush pictured? I have looked everywhere for a similar mug with no luck or they’re very expensive. TIA!

    1. Amazon for the shave brush, it was fairly inexpensive. The mug I already owned, it was my parents from the 1970s, so maybe a second hand store might have similar?
