This Red and White Ribbon and Ornament Christmas Wreath is a great diy wreath project anyone can tackle!

I love Christmas decorating and wanted to make a new wreath for my front door. This meant a trip to Michaels.  A very long trip where I carefully picked everything out and somehow left with a cartload of stuff not even related to this project.

Ribbon and Ornament Christmas Wreath

I started off with a 24″ grapevine wreath, 4 rolls of wired ribbon, ornaments, glittery mini Styrofoam balls, berry picks and a garland that I didn’t end up using.

I attached the ornaments to small pieces of the berry sprigs I cut off using twist ties.

I attached loops of wired ribbon to the wreath form, alternating between different ribbons.  You could also weave the ribbon through the wreath to achieve a similar look.

I used the wire from the berry sprig to attach the ornament and sprig to the ribbon form.

I used more wire to attach the Styrofoam balls to the wreath, they work well to fill in any gaps.

I finished the wreath off by attaching the remaining berry sprigs and a jaunty little bird on the opposite side of the section of ribbon.
