Life with a toddler and infant can be hectic and frustrating but it is also filled with plenty of precious moments, many of which I am lucky enough to capture as a photograph. When I was contacted by Ookpix to try out their services I knew this would be a good chance to get one of my favourite photos printed and up on a wall for all to see.
Ordering my print was easy and took only a few minutes to choose the size and format I wanted. I decided to go with a canvas print for this photo, I just love the look of a canvas print for professionally taken photos. They do also offer acrylic prints if you happen to prefer that format over canvas. I was a bit surprised to find that the art did not arrive ready to hang although it isn’t very difficult to install the saw-tooth picture hanger that came in the package. I assume this is done so that there is no guessing and mistakes made on their part when it comes to prints that are maybe less obvious as to the correct rotation.
The print itself is bright and quite beautiful. It certainly does the original photograph justice! Ookpix uses ultra high-resolution latex printers to print your photos onto premium quality poly-cotton canvas. This is an an environmentally responsible way to print as it involves no harsh chemicals and no hazardous materials and results in rich colours and life-like flesh tones.
