The Guilt Trip DVD Review

Andy Brewster is about to embark on the road trip of a lifetime, and who better to accompany him than his overbearing mother Joyce. After deciding to start his adventure with a quick visit at mom’s, Andy is guilted into bringing her along for the ride. Across 3,000 miles of ever-changing landscape, he is constantly aggravated by her antics, but over time he comes to realize that their lives have more in common than he originally thought. His mother’s advice might end up being exactly what he needs.

The Guilt Trip

Along with the Target exclusive wrapped Blu Ray copy of The Guilt trip, I also received a fab spa basket to give my mom which included some really nice Kiss My Face products.  I brought this over to my moms house along with the movie for an early Mothers Day surprise to watch with her and my sister.

We all really loved the movie, it was both funny and sweet.  Both Seth and Barbara played their characters well, and believably.  There were parts in the movie that reminded me very much of my own relationship with my mother.

I really loved the end of the movie, but I don’t want to spoil it.  Suffice to say it is super sweet, and it brought tears to our eyes and it was completely unsuspected.

The Guilt Trip would make an awesome Mothers day gift for the Mom in your life, and it be even better to make a day out of it.  Why not take your mom on a “Guilt trip” to the local spa with you for a mani and a pedi.  Doesn’t she deserve it?

Disclosure:  I received the above mentioned product in order to facilitate this review.  This is a personal blog and all thoughts and opinions remain my own.

I saw this movie in theater with my best friend, we wanted a funny movie not too hard to understand, but the reviews weren't that good. We found it really funny and awesome and we thought the mother reminded us of our own mother in lots of ways. Ex: ''Ask them if there's a special'' hahah!

I saw this one in the theater with a girlfriend because we were looking for something "light." We got a lot of good laughs from this movie. Also: Babs looks fantastic! I only hope I can age half as well!
