Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site & Steam Train, Dream Train Board Books Boxed Set & Puzzle #FMEGifts2015
Two New York Times Best Sellers available together in this board books boxed set!
Even the roughest, toughest readers will want to turn off their engines and snuggle up with these sweet and soothing stories. Gentle rhyming text and vibrant art make these books sure-fire bedtime favourites for train- and construction-crazy kids everywhere.
These are a set of well written, enjoyable stories that young children who love trucks and trains will love to hear over and over again.
Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site
As the sun sets behind the big construction site, all the hardworking trucks get ready to say goodnight. One by one, Crane Truck, Cement Mixer, Dump Truck, Bulldozer, and Excavator finish their work and lie down to rest-so they’ll be ready for another day of rough and tough construction play! With irresistible artwork by best-selling illustrator Tom Lichtenheld and sweet, rhyming text, this book will have truck lovers of all ages begging for more.
Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site features illustrations that kids will enjoy. I loved that the artwork depicts the personalities of each character in such a fun way. My girls love having this book read to them, and typically ask to hear it again and again! My only disappointment with this title is that none of the characters are female, and clearly boys aren’t the only ones with an interest and love for trucks!
The team behind the #1 New York Times bestseller Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site returns with another fabulous book for bedtime! The dream train pulls into the station, and one by one the train cars are loaded: polar bears pack the reefer car with ice cream, elephants fill the tanker cars with paints, tortoises stock the auto rack with race cars, bouncy kangaroos stuff the hopper car with balls. Sweet and silly dreams are guaranteed for any budding train enthusiasts!
My girls also love having this title read to them at night too. It’s a pleasant, relaxing bedtime read. The illustrations are much darker than Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site but they perfectly suit the dreamy story and set the tone for a good nights sleep.
Steam Train, Dream Train Puzzle
The team behind the #1 New York Times bestseller Steam Train, Dream Train returns with a wonderfully whimsical puzzle! Each train car features a menagerie of quirky and colorful characters—with art on both sides of the puzzle pieces—giving kids countless ways to arrange the cars. With irresistible artwork by Tom Lichtenheld, this set of mix-and-matchable pieces is a ticket to fun!
My 22 month old has recently started being interested in puzzles after watching my 3 year old put them together. When I gave her this floor puzzle to play with she was over the moon! There is no right or wrong way to assemble the puzzle as the pieces are double sided and they all interlock with one another aside from the engine and caboose pieces. They come in a sturdy box for storage which makes clean up super easy. The pieces are thick and large which makes them perfect for little hands!
