Sprinkle Sugar Cookies

These Sprinkle Sugar Cookies are one of my kids favourites cookie recipes. They love to help make them and eat them too. Sprinkles always win!

  Sprinkle-Cookies 4

My 2 and 4 year old girls adore anything with sprinkles. I mean sprinkles trump anything with them. It’s always the ice cream with the sprinkles, the donut with the sprinkles, the cupcakes with the sprinkles. So I thought, well, why not cookies with sprinkles?

I spent the weekend baking with my girls and we whipped up a batch of these sprinkle sugar cookies. Let’s just say they were gone faster than chocolate chip cookies and that I had nothing to do with the disappearance of 24 cookies. Mostly because I have two little girls who aren’t afraid to go to any lengths to get to the cookie jar at 5 am when Mommy and Daddy are still sleeping.

The cookie jar now lives in the top cupboard where it is safe from early morning prowlers.

Lesson learned.

I'm not surprised your girls loved these, so much so in fact that were up early enough to devour the rest. :-)
