ShoeMe.ca: Nine West Altemis Strappy Dress Sandal

Founded on the couch in his parent’s basement, Sean Clark created ShoeMe.ca with one vision in mind: to democratize online shopping for Canadians. I’ve always been a little bit shoe obsessed.  Sneakers, Sandals, Heels, Boots… I have enough at this point that I could literally go 2-3 months without wearing the same pair twice.  No joke.  There is just nothing like putting on a great pair of shoes like putting on a great pair of shoes that totally makes an otherwise ordinary outfit POP!

When ShoeMe.ca offered the opportunity to review and style a pair of shoes from its online boutique, I had the difficult task of browsing through their massive collection of gorgeous shoes.  My job can be taxing at times, but someone has to do it.  I knew I wanted a pair to wear to my brothers wedding in September so I wanted something glam but neutral since I don’t yet have THE dress.   It wasn’t long before I had narrowed it down to the Nine West Women’s Altemis Strappy Dress Sandal.

Aren’t they gorgeous?  These Nine West Sandals feature a satin upper on a 3.5 inch heel with gem adorned straps and a back zipper.

Most importantly though, as I do have a 2 year old and a 6 month old to chase around, they are feel supportive and extremely comfortable.  They feel like sandals any mom can wear in comfort but look like red carpet worthy heels.

 I also love that this pair of sandals can easily be styled with different outfits from casual to formal thanks to their neutral colour and elegant design.

If by some miracle I can get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and shape prior to the wedding I would love to be able to wear this beautiful Jessica McCintock dress I got for my Auntie’s wedding a few years ago.  My new Nine West Altemis Strappy Dress Sandal work perfectly with the dress, especially combined with my jewelled bracelet and hoop earrings.

For a less formal look I have this pretty and very summery dress with an asymmetric hemline which I picked up recently.  Paired with my Swarovski Starfish necklace that my husband got me this past Christmas I think the strappy sandals really elevate the dress from casual to something you could easily wear out on the town.

For another quick look, it was easy to simply swap out the dress from my first look for this summery dress by Guess which just shows how versatile these sandals are.   I think they even look great paired with a simple fitted t-shirt and skinny jeans for a look worthy of casual affairs where you want to stand out in a good way.
