Ever since Keira was born she has shared a special bond with her Auntie Sarah. Her Auntie Sarah was there when she was born, she planned her baby shower, and more importantly was there more than anyone else to help me get through the newborn stage. Even to the point of coming all the way over to watch Keira so I could get some much needed to rest.
Now that Keira is well past the newborn stage and a full-fledged preschooler she is at the point where all she talks about is Auntie. She wants to call Auntie about 5 times a day, and she asks at least once every day to go to Auntie Sarah’s house or “home” as she calls it. There seriously isn’t a day that goes by where Keira isn’t thinking about Auntie Sarah.
For this months #12PrintsProject I made an easy decision after seeing this picture of Keira and her Auntie for an afternoon drop in visit. It wasn’t too hard to capture Keira grinning from ear to ear with Auntie!
For this months print I went with a dazzling white lacquer frame of the print with a white matte as a gift for my sister. I’ve never ordered a lacquer frame from Posterjack and I have to say I am really happy with the look! It’s glossy, modern and simple but it stands out in a really stunning manner which isn’t too surprising as they are designed and produced in Italy but offered by Posterjack at really affordable prices.
The look of the lacquer frame is just so polished and smooth which makes it so easy to clean with just the wipe of a clean, soft cloth/ They are also available in black which is generally my frame colour of choice, although after seeing the print hanging in this space I am starting to think I redecorate with white framed pieces. Don’t you think it’s just gorgeous?
Offered in 18 different sizes, they come ready to hang with picture wire attached. (LOVE!)
Keira of course is in love with the print. She loves showing everyone the picture to everyone who comes for a visit and isn’t too keen on the idea that the picture is going to be at Auntie Sarah’s house. I might have to order a second print of this just for us!
