Supplies needed:
Paper plate
Acrylic paint – blue, green
White paint pen
Yellow cardstock or star stickers
Craft glue
Blue yarn
Stapler
Scissors
Directions:
Begin with a sturdy paper plate.
Carefully cut out the inside circle. Leave in tact as much as possible. If doing this craft with kids, then an adult should do this part.
Cut the inside circle into triangular shapes.
Now, paint the remaining circle blue.
And paint the triangular shapes green. Let the paint dry completely.
Once dry, use the white paint pen to make lines across the green triangles.
Also use the white paint pen to make white dots across the blue circle.
Next, either use yellow cardstock and a glue stick, or simply use star stickers, to form stars and stick to the triangles.
Staple the triangles to the bottom of the circle, along the outside rim so the trees are slightly elevated from the wreath.
Finally, loop a strand of blue yarn, or you can use twine or ribbon, to hang for a lovely winter wonderland decoration.
