How to Make a Paper Plate Ladybug
Supplies:
Large paper plate
Red and black craft paint
Paint brushes
Googly eyes
Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
Black pipe cleaner cut in half
Black permanent marker
Directions:
Flip the paper plate over and place it face down.
Paint the plate red.
Set aside to dry.
Using the black paint, paint a small half circle on one side of the paper plate.
Paint a black line coming down from the middle of the half circle.
Paint black dots on each side of the ladybug. Set aside and allow time to dry.
Use the hot glue gun to glue the googly eyes on the black half circle.
Place a thin strip of hot glue on the back side near the face of the ladybug on both sides. You can mark the correct spot if needed with a black permanent marker.
Place a pipe cleaner half on each side for the antenna.
Bend the antenna back over the ladybugs face/head and curl the tips with your finger!
Display!
