Imagine a World is a mesmerizing picture book from Canadian illustrator Rob Gonsalves.  I was immediately impressed by his ability to create optical illusions that truly spark the imagination.

 Each turn of the page offers up a discovery, a spread of beautiful art that is so much more than it first appears to be. This is a truly gorgeous book. 

Each spread is accompanied by inspirational text but I was honestly so taken in by the artwork that I had to go back and re-read the text to take it in.

Fallen autumn leaves are transformed into swirls of monarch butterflies, open books become a row of doorways, and a high waterfall cascades into a troupe of  dancers as it reaches the bottom.

This is a wonderful book to spark the imaginations of young readers and adults alike!
