I would suggest grabbing a Letter Size planner binder so that you can keep the sheets organised in the car. A binder also provides a hard surface to write any additional notes while on the road.
Road Trip Checklist Printable Sheets
The most important part of planning your road trip is making sure you get your vehicle road trip ready. My planner has got you covered with a simple printable checklist. It will help you make sure you get your vehicle road trip ready and have everything you need before leaving.
I’ve also included some important things to get done around your home too!
These checklists offer loads of space to include your own items you want to bring on but provide a good headstart. It’s a great way to make sure you are well organised for the road!
Also be sure to check out my list of road trip essentials for more details about some of the items included in the checklist.
Road Trip Daily Planner Printable Sheet
This sheet is super helpful, especially if you are planning to check out various attractions on your road trip and want to plan out where you will eat your meals.
This should help you stay on track to get to your final destination on time, but also give you the opportunity to see some cool things on the way.
Plan your course on google maps so you can get a good feel for the time between stops and to help you find attractions along your planned route then write them all down on this daily planner.
I like to keep any confirmations for any online bookings I make in a specific folder for the road trip. This includes confirmations for any accommodations.
That way I can pull up confirmation numbers and check in information as needed.
Road Trip Budget Printable Sheet
A must have for any road trip.
To help you save a little money on the trip by not over spending, I have included a budget sheet so you can set aside how much you want to spend on each category and then you can also track your actual spending on the same sheet.
Once you have written out your daily planner you should have a good feel for what reasonable expenses might be along the way.
It’s especially important that you know how much your activities and food costs will be, as well as what gas will cost for your road trip if you also need to budget for your accommodations.
It’s a good idea to figure out your accommodations last so you can choose places to stay within the budget left after determining the estimated cost all the things you want to do and see.
