When I found out about this release I was pretty excited. I love classic Disney, after all I grew up on titles like Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and of course 101 Dalmatians.  I couldn’t wait to sit down and watch 101 Dalmations with Keira, I knew she would love it since she likes puppies so much.  I couldn’t believe how great this movie looked in HD – the colours are vivid and the lines are neat and crisp looking.

Watching the Blu-Ray I found myself singing along to Cruella De Vil; one of only three songs in the movie.  It’s funny how that song can stick in your head for days after! 

This special Diamond Edition release pf 101 Dalmations includes an all-new short,The Further Adventures of Thunderbolt, along with the 1961 version of “Walt Disney Presents The Best Doggoned Dog in the World,” “Lucky Dogs,” “DisneyView,” and “Dalmatians 101: Hosted by Cameron Boyce” (The Descendants), as well as a Selection of Classic Bonus Features.
