  1. Camping is such a great way to get out and slow down. We had quit camping for a few years and got back at last year realizing how much we missed it. I haven’t been to any of the areas you mention.

  2. I love Camping , thanks for sharing , we go to a Place near us , its such a Beautiful spot 🙂 we love it there 🙂

  3. I don’t know how far “east coast” extends, but in-land you should add Red River Gorge. Features a few developed campsites and many undeveloped (my 13 yr old step daughter and her friend loved and learned from camping in bear country here…), beautiful hiking at all different levels and also canoeing and horseback riding etc,…

  4. It’s about 40 yrs since I went camping, my son and family and my daughter and her family do go camping though – one family in a tent the other in a RV

  5. I haven’t visited any of these places for camping so I’m happy for the ideas! I’ve camped a few times at various campgrounds in the Adirondacks.

  6. We go camping multiple times during the summer at Keen Lake in Waymart PA. Such a great family campground!!!

  7. love to take the grandkids camping, unfortunately this year we only got to the conservation area 1 hour from our home
