New Kraft Fruit & Veg dressings are made with fruits and vegetables for a bold, fresh taste that is perfect for bringing an everyday salad to life.  Kraft Fruit & Veg dressings contain no artificial flavours or colours and are available in four delicious flavours:

o Berry Balsamic
o Roasted Yellow Pepper, Garlic and Lime
o Fire Roasted Tomato with Basil
o Garlic Parmesan with Roasted Cauliflower

I love that they are also low in fat and salt and between 25 – 30 calories per serving which makes it a healthier choice for my family. Love!

I’ve had the chance to try out each flavour and I am really happy with each one as a salad dressing. I also noticed immediately that each bottle features an alternate way to use the dressing aside from salad.

I had plans to show off the Garlic Parmesan with Roasted Cauliflower dressing by using it to make super yummy mashed potatoes (as suggested by the bottle) along with with an amazing slow cooked roast and vegetables.  That all went down the drain when I was left to deal with my daughter in a state of complete melt down resulting in a pot of charred potatoes on the stove.  Needless to say, not even Garlic Parmesan with Roasted Cauliflower dressing was able to save the day.  (I still tried!)

After scrapping the potatoes I put together a delicious salad of organic boston lettuce, organic apples and carrots and then topped it off with the Kraft Fruit & Veg berry balsamic dressing.  The only thing that would have made this more amazing would have been an addition of walnuts or pine-nuts to the salad itself.

Doesn’t it look amazing?

The next night I paired the fire roasted tomato with basil dressing with a really simple salad and was amazed with the complex flavour.  I think this dressing would make a summer corn salad taste extra-ordinary and I can‘t wait to try that out either!

I also tried the Roasted Yellow Pepper, Garlic and Lime poured into the hollow of an avocado.  It suggests on the bottle to use this dressing along with a few other simple ingredients to make guacamole.  Well I wanted that yummy guacamole flavour without any of the effort and it certainly worked out in my favour!  I definitely recommend trying this out if you are an avocado fan.

These new Kraft Fruit & Veg dressings are a welcome and delicious addition to Krafts line of pourable dressings and welcome on my families dinner table anytime!

Which of these new dressings would you most like to try?

  2. I liked these dressings too – for cooking more so than for green salads (I’m really an oil and vinegar type). Made stir-fry and roasted chicken with two of these and thought the roasted yellow pepper worked really well with quinoa.

  3. I was able to sample these dressings too and my favourite was the Garlic Parmesan. I’ve never used anything but butter and a bit of cream in mashed potatoes but when I tried adding this Kraft dressing to it, it really added a lot more zest. I’m a convert!

  4. I shared our dressings with family over the weekend, everyone was pretty excited to give them a try:) Perfect for upcoming dining outside season – lots of salads on the patio.

  5. I’d like to try the Roasted Yellow Pepper, Garlic and Lime. Sounds like a great combination because I love the lime flavoured totilla chips.

  6. Hello, FME. I would most like to try the Roasted Yellow Pepper, Garlic and Lime and the Garlic Parmesan with Roasted Cauliflower. They both sound too good to resist. This is a unique idea for shelf brand salad dressing. Way to go, Kraft. I especially like that they are also low in fat and salt and between 25 – 30 calories per serving as you mentioned. These address all of the important health concerns of my family.

  7. The berry balsamic looks awesome. I have gestational diabetes and need some new choices for salad dressings. Im going to give these a try.
