You Are My Baby: Woodland By Lorena Siminovich #FMEGifts14

You are my baby

A new title in this series of charming and inventive board books! Readers will find a little book nestled inside a bigger one. Turn the pages to match the baby animals to their parents, and learn early concepts along the way. In this new entry to the series, young ones will discover animal habits in the forest.

Earlier this year we reviewed a few titles in the You are My Baby series of books which includes Garden, Farm, Ocean and Safari.  You are my Baby: Woodland is the latest edition in the series and features a bear, fox, raccoon, deer, and owl.

These adorable board books feature a little book within a bigger book allowing the reader to match the baby animals with their parents.  The illustrations are vibrant and sweet with patterns throughout them, matching on both books when the mom and baby are unified. Keira absolutely loves flipping through the “two” books by herself but she also loves having me read it to her.  This is a nice edition that features some of her favourite characters.

Ava, 10 months old, also seems to really enjoy looking at the pages in the title and I think the simple but beautiful and vibrant illustrations can be thanked for that.

You are my Baby: Woodland is a fun way to introduce animals to baby.
