Growing up I was never really exposed to seafood as my parents I do not like it. The extent of my experience with shrimp involved shrimp rings at parties until some point in my mid twenties when I was taken to a seafood restaurant! I only recently tried crab and lobster for the first time and I’ve never tried scallops or other varieties of seafood. I guess that is a bit crazy for someone who loves food as much as I do!

I love shrimp — and all other types of seafood — it’s just too bad I can’t afford it right now! My favourite shrimp recipe combines it with lemon juice, cilantro and fresh tomato!
