Soft and chewy, these are sure to be loved kids who don’t like Christmas cookies which makes them a welcome addition to my Christmas cookie repertoire.
These are truly kid friendly.
In my opinion, the key to the best chocolate chip cookies is extra chips, so feel free to throw extra in.
Use chunks of chocolate instead or add other types of chocolate too.

About the White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookie Ingredients:
Here’s what you’ll need to make the White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies:
Flour – Just plain old all-purpose flour. Spoon and level the flour when measuring it.
Sugar – Use packed brown sugar to add some depth to the cookie.
Salt – Helps make all the yummy flavours baked into the buns to really shine.
Baking soda: Helps the cookies rise in the oven. Make sure to test for effectiveness before using if you’ve had it longer than 6 months.
Butter – I recommend unsalted butter when baking as the salt content in butter can vary. If all you have is salted, omit the added salt from the recipe.
Eggs – Bring to room temperature before baking with eggs if possible. They mix better and the dough will rise better.
Peppermint Extract – Adds more peppermint flavour to the cookie but if you want to tone it down then substitute with vanilla extract.
White chocolate chips – You may also want to make chocolate chunks by roughly chopping a white chocolate bar.
Peppermint candy – Use either Peppermint candies or candy cane here.
