How to Cook a Spiral Ham in the Slow Cooker
If you want to come home to a perfectly tender spiral ham, you can also make the ham in your crock pot.
After you brush the ham with the glaze, add a little water or peach nectar and cook on the lowest setting for 3-4 hours.

How Long to Cook a Spiral Ham?
Spiral cut hams typically come fully cooked, so when you’re cooking a spiral ham, you just want to heat it through.
To perfectly cook a spiral ham without it drying out make sure you use a meat thermometer and don’t let it get past 140°F.
You can remove your ham from the oven when it reaches around 135°F and keep an eye on the thermometer to ensure it reaches 140°F.
How long it takes to cook a spiral ham will depend on the size of the ham, Alot about 20 minutes per pound of meat when cooking at 350°F.

Ingredients for Peach Glazed Sprial Ham
Ham – I recommend buying a spiral cut smoked ham. The smokiness really enhances the sweet and salty flavours of this spiral ham recipe.
Sugar – Use brown sugar here. Maple syrup is a good swap if need be, but I really prefer the combination of brown sugar and peaches better.
Preserves – Use your favourite peach preserves.

How to Store Leftover Ham
Leftover cooked ham should be refrigerated as soon as possible after serving. To store, simply wrap your ham tightly in plastic wrap or foil, or place in an airtight bag or airtight container and then keep in a refrigerator for up to 5 days.
If you need to store the ham for longer, you can freeze it instead. To freeze, double wrap your ham tightly with plastic wrap or foil, freezer bags or freezer paper. You want to wrap the ham twice to help ensure the ham stays moist. You can keep it frozen for up to 2 months, defrost overnight in the refrigerator.
If your family is like mine, you might find it hard to find room in the fridge to accommodate a whole ham leg. In the case, you can remove the meat from the bone and store the meat, as directed above, in the fridge or freezer.
Not sure what to do with that cooked ham bone? Make ham stock!
