Doodle Easter Eggs
I don’t know about you, but I used to spend hours of my school day doodling down the sides of any page I could get my hands on. I would doodle all over my canvas backpack too. This doodle Easter egg idea happened in a moment of boredom and I’m so in love with it! This is Easter Egg decorating in a way that anyone can do. You just can’t doodle wrong and each egg is bound to end up looking unique. So have it and tap the inner kid in you.
Materials:
Hard-boiled or blown Eggs
Food Colouring
Vinegar
Water
Black Permanent Marker
Instructions:
In a 12 oz glass mix together 1 tbsp vinegar with 3/4 cup water and food colouring to achieve your desired shade. (See below for a handy guide to achieve the same brilliant colours I did using regular food colouring)
Use a spoon or tongs to gently place egg in the glass being sure that the egg is completely submerged.
Leave submerged for 5-10 minutes or so depending on how deep you want the colour.
Remove eggs from the dye mixture and allow to completely dry before proceeding.
Tap into your inner child, remember the days of randomly doodling on any piece of paper or material handy and pick up that permanent marker and go to work.
Once complete put up on display.

I don’t know if I would have the patience to do this, I like doodling but paper and eggs are to different things, but they would look cool though!!

What a great idea, I used to paint Easter eggs with various scenes on them. A shame egg shells break so easily or I’d still have them.
