Grapefruit are super healthy and one of my favourite breakfast foods. I can remember my mother preparing grapefruit for me as a child as part of my breakfast, sprinkled with sugar. I loved the flavour and I still do but I also love that grapefruit may help promote healthy skin, and may even help with weight loss. Perfect for starting your day off right.

  1. we have been doing green smoothies for a month now and I’d love to now incorporate something like this bowl as a treat/change.

  2. That looks really good. Been seeing a lot of smoothie bowls lately, really going to have to try one out. Would make a nice change of breakfast.

  3. Sounds and looks totally amazing. I have a little sweeter tooth than grapefruit, so I think I could probably substitute maybe pineapple juice instead of grapefruit juice.

  4. Ooh that looks delicious! Oddly, I never think to use citrus fruit in my smoothies – generally berry or banana based! I need to switch things up 🙂

  5. wowie does this ever look yummy! refreshing and healthy. I need to do up a smoothie bowl. I could eat this everyday!
