DIY Thrifty & Chic Sunburst Mirror

  This DIY Thrifty & Chic Sunburst Mirror can go from dorm room to home decor and its such a frugal and fun diy project!

 

Looking for a simple way to add a little bling into any room?  Look no further!  This Sunburst mirror is so pretty and you can make your own in under 15 minutes with only $2 worth of supplies.  This project is perfect for decor on a budget.

DIY Thrifty & Chic Sunburst Mirror

Items Needed:

Magnetic Mirror (found at the Dollar Store)
Gold Thumb Tacks (found at the Dollar Store)
Small Hammer or Pliers

 

Sunburst Mirror

Directions:

Starting towards the inside of the mirror, start applying thumb tacks around the edge of the mirror, slightly over lapping each tack.

After the first circle is complete, turn the mirror over and carefully push down the backs of each tack using a hammer or pliers.

 

Continue this process for each layer, over lapping each layer as you go.

  1. This is great! We just moved, we have a teenager 1/2 living here 1/2 not lol. Miss K has nothing on her walls in her bedroom.. this is a wonderful little project she could do and hang! Thank you so much.
